The Home-Lovers Encyclopedia For Handyman and Housewife, A practical guide to all home crafts and featuring 1,850 illustrations. Published by The Amalgamated Press Limited, London, c. 1930’s. Black and white frontispiece illustration and various beautifully done b&w illustrations and diagrams throughout. Very interesting glimpse into 1930’s domestic history and home life. Attractive faux leather brown cloth cover with a blind stamped image of a lion head door knocker and Art Deco border, gilt lettering and decor on the spine. Very good condition for its age, firm binding, no inscriptions, nice antique patina to the pages.
