In the King's pattern with a shell motif, this spoon features the unique "shovel" shape of a traditional sugar shovel. Much longer than a regular sugar shovel, this spoon is quite substantial to hold and serve with and would be appropriate for serving an assortment of preserves, jams, salsa and other condiments.

In good condition with some wear shown in photos on shovel front, there are no dings or dents or scratches elsewhere, and it retains a good shine.

Sheffield EPNS (electroplated nickel silver- a silver plating process fusing silver with nickel) was manufactured in several cities in England. This is a pretty as well as an unusual spoon shape example of Sheffield EPNS.
